INTERNATIONAL MEETING FOR VIDEO ACTIVISTS
　　　　　　　　　　主催：G8メディアネットワーク・ヴィデオユニット

洞爺湖サミットでおこる出来事を伝えるために集った全世界のヴィデオ・アクティヴィスト・報道関係の皆さん!!!!
　私たちの多くは路上や街頭で何度も顔を合わせることになると予想されます。国内外を問わず、それぞれの所属や立場を超えて同士で集まりましょう。
　このミーティングの主な目的はお互いのコミュニケーションをはかり、私たちの経験や技術を分かち合うこと、様々なトラブル・アクシデントに対処するための有意義な機会を作り出すことです。

■「取材」に関連する日本の法律、警察対応などの基礎的な情報の伝達
海外から来た皆さんには残念ながら基本的な情報が周知されているとは言いがたいと主催者は考えています。WATCH(サミット人権監視弁護士ネットワーク / Watch Human Rights on Summit)事務局の木下ちがや氏とともに、慣れない国での取材に関する不安に対し、話し合う場を設けます。

■撮影者と被撮影者との間のトラブルを回避するための意見交換
キャンプ・ワーキング・グループに所属し、セイファー・スペースに関わる松本麻里氏を招き、被撮影者側からの率直な意見や要望、考えうるケースを挙げていただく予定です。
撮影・取材によるハラスメントを避け、みんなが安心して行動できる場を共に作っていくのも撮影者の役割の一つです。
またこのような問題意識や懸念を持った方々にも参加を呼びかけます。
※このテーマはミーティングの後半14:30頃から始める予定です。

お互いの経験・技術を分かち合い、話し合うことでによる新しいACTIONを創造していきましょう!!!!

■Make a new action by "People With a Video Camera" !

Hello every video activist and the press from all over the world.

Many of us will see each other many time. Let's meet as "People With a Video Camera" over any borders.

The purpose of this meeting is attempting communication, sharing our experiences or skills and thinking a solution of several accident and trouble.

■ Basic skill of Japanese law about situation of making films and answering the police

Unfortunately, we think there are enough basic informations for people from other countries. We have a meeting with Chigaya Kinoshita in the legal team WATCH(Watch Human Rights on Summit) for video activists in an unfamiliar environment.

■Discussion of avoiding trouble with the subject and the cameraman

We have a discussion and case study with Mari Matsumoto in the safer space department of Camp Working Group.
We should avoid a harassment by taking films together.
