Wednesday morning, 23 April. We heard that a woman was run over by aprison van taking prisoners back from court to Brixton jail yesterdayaround 5.30pm. Rushed up to the area and got a newspaper.

ご存知の方もいるかと思いますが、つい先日ロンドンで刑務所の移送車が、刑務所制度に反対して運転を妨害しようとした女性をひき殺す事件がありました。当たり前ですがメディアはこれが刑務所制度への反対行動の一部と見られることなど詳細は明らかにしておらず、運転手も現在は仮釈放中。これに対して現地ではデモがあり、また各地で抗議の連帯意思表示など行われています。
追悼の意を表してここにメインストリームメディアでは描かれていない事件の内情と抗議／抵抗行動の詳細を掲載します。
